Rose Layos Green Audio Excellence Award...
First awarded in 1986, the Rose Layos Green Audio
Excellence Award is named for Rose Layos Green,
co-founder & former President of Cinesound, Inc., a Hollywood
audio facility. The award is given to a production that pays
careful attention to the audio track including location and
post audio. Previous winners include America's Army
produced by Maguire/Reeder of Alexandria, Virginia for the U.S. Army.
Robert Townsend Social Issues Award...
Presented by feature film actor, producer and director, Robert Townsend, the Robert Townsend Social Issues Award is given to a production that documents an important social issue or tells the story of a program or individual who is helping to solve a social ill. Previous winners include The Eddie Files by F.A.S.E. Productions, Los Angeles for ARCO, the National Science Foundation, and The U.S. Departments of Commerce & Energy.
Robert W. Rowan Still Imagery Award...
Given to a production that effectively utilizes still images. Presented by award winning photographer Robert W. Rowan. Previous winners include Supporting Life's Journey produced by Cinecraft for Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland.
Wolfgang Bayer Cinematography Award...
Named for one of the world's foremost wildlife cinematographers, WOLFGANG BAYER, this award honors a production whose cinematography is deemed to be outstanding. Previous winners include Light Dance, filmed by David Fortney of Wonderland Productions, Aptos, California.
